HDMI is the new standard for digital video transmission supporting standard, enhanced and high definition video signals and can be converted to DVI-D using this cable. This cable is used to connect devices fitted with HDMI connectors (such as TV tuner cards & DVD players) with devices fitted with DVI-D connectors (such as TFT monitors and some of the LCD TVs).
This cable is made from UL 20276, double shielded HDMI cable, conforms to HDMI 1.2 specifications and supports transmission rates of up to 3.7Gbits per second at resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080P).
As HDMI 1.2 specification type A connectors only transmit a single-link video signal this cable has a single link DVI-D connector at one end and a 19 pin type A HDMI connector at the other.
